The innovative wind-up scaffold tower

Monkey Tower is one of the most innovative pieces of access equipment on the market today. Platform heights from 1m to 4.5m, in 250mm increments, can be achieved from one single self contained unit.

The Monkey Tower has been designed for ease of transport & use in mind. Each unit is trailer mounted and owing to it's lightweight design, can be towed behind even the smallest of vehicles fitted with a standard 50mm tow bar. Complete with all lighting required to drive on the road, all you need to add to be road legal is your registration plate!

With Monkey Tower, there are no loose parts to either lose or assemble in the incorrect manner. Erection is a simple 4 step process:

  1. Slide out stabilisers and jack up until road wheels are clear of the ground.
  2. Pull ladder into position.
  3. Winch up the platform.
  4. Climb the integral ladder and get to work!

Key Features:

  • Can be set up by one person within 5 minutes
  • No formal training (PASMA or IPAF) required. Instructions printed on each unit.
  • Failsafe catches ensure unit locks into position and cannot be lowered by mistake
  • Up to 75kg of tools or materials can be placed on the unit before winding into desired platform height - no more struggling up ladders.
  • Massive 250kg SWL - Enough for 2 men & tools
  • Fits through a standard doorway - Simply remove the stabiliser jacks and the units is just 700mm wide!
  • Easy to move around site - Locking swivel castors on the rear jacks and Jockey wheel on the front ensure movement in all directions when needed.
  • The right height for the job - Platform automatically locks at every 250mm to make sure you can always be at the right height.
  • CE marked and designed and tested to BS:EN 1004:2004
  • Axles can be extended to give additional stability whilst on the road. Safe to drive up to the legal speed limit
  • Powder coated steel chassis resists corrosion.
  • Lightweight powder coated aluminium guardrail.

Although no formal training is required, users should be competent in the safe use of the Monkey Tower. A user guide is supplied with each unit. We also recommend producing a risk assessment and method statement for each task.
